Hello Sujeet,

We should allow the buffering set by standard for the SAP objects which is directly related to the response time of the system. In case of PM Orders the buffer set is 20. Skipping consecutive Order numbers by this amount is  not abnormal and the gaps will be filled subsequently. In such arrangement system is free to choose among the servers of Production client. Development and Quality clients there is only one server, so there will be consecutive numbers without skips. In PRD if we set it to 1, the response time effects. Onething I did not understand is why skipping by 100, which I haven't ever heard.

Initially my end-users also were not accustomed to such skips, but now they are used to. Now they are sorting by the Date/Time of creation of the objects. These are some facts, based on which you can decide further course.

Good luck
