Try using a Running Total - set it up this way:
Running Total Name: Name the Running Total
Field to Summarize: Select a field to be counted
Type of Summary: Count
Evaluate: Use a formula. CLick on the formula button to the right of this and enter something like the following: {MyTable.LDAType} = 'Unrinary Catheter'. NOTE: This is case sensitive!
Reset: Never
You can now use this at the end of the report to get the total count for the whole report.
