If you have global ID activated then using reference personal number in the hire action should be sufficient to copy "shared infotype".... IT0006 is one, however IT0041 is not (that is why I was asking you the exact IT list you want to copy)... shared infotype are customized under T582A or T582G...
If you have hired someone specifying a reference personal number in IT0031 and finished the action and notice IT0002, 0006 and 0009 are still empty... check program RPUFIXDS to see if it offer you at least repairing the data. Maybe you are missing a couple of switches under T77S0. many thread and notes regarding this...
However you know it is just a lot easier to keep the same pernr and just perform a re-entry action... sensitive data access is controlled with authority...
