Hi Neven,
Thank you for the report. Fonts are a funny thing in Windows and CR and Database clients.
First thing to do is in CR Designer change the viewing Local by clicking on View, Preferred Viewing Locale and selecting the language:
Then try selecting other fonts, when I clicked on Format field and the Font tab it's linked to Tahoma. Now the way Windows maps fonts is if there is no specific font for the language it will embed the Glyphs into Tahoma or sometimes other ones but Tahoma seems to be the most used.
Now in the Character Map tool in Control Panel if you select Tahoma and look for that character you will find it. You can copy both and paste into a text box in CR Designer and they are displayed.
So this would suggest the Database driver is either not interpreting those characters correctly before CRD can display them. I say this because when I preview if the character in CRD they show fine which suggests either those characters where not saved using the same font set or the ODBC driver is interpreting the character.
Try using some other program to test the data, like SQLCon or ODBC Test tool.
