Re: Lpos, Spos in Search help

Hi,

you use Lpos for the position of the fields in popup window,

for example : table Employee, 

this table has many fields, and you want to search for the Id number with first and last name.

So you want to display  ID; Last name, First name in popup , so you have to enter the following Lpos

Field name :      LPos

ID                              1

Last name                2

First name                 3

in this case, the all IDs, last name and first name will be displayed,

but if you would like to restrict them with last name or first name, then you can enter SPOS,

so I want to search for the IDs who name is john,

in this case, you have to enter in the SPOS First name 1

Field name :      LPos   SPOS

ID                              1

Last name                2  

First name                 3        1
