1. Do we really need to import third party Products and SWCV into QA and Prod SLDs? or can we get away with just replicating the Technical Systems and Business Systems in the SLD?

-->> Importing the ESR SWCV from dev does not create the SWC in SLD. so you need to transport the SLD SWC.

I am not sure about the issues/problem occurs when SWC and product is not transported, but it is best practice to transport all relevant SLD object in QA and prod.
