How "ref-cursor" in the database get closed, when a report over stored procedure runs from crystal or BI server or Java application

Hi All,

This is query from a customer regarding to stored procedures "ref-cursor".

== ENVIRONMENT ==

Oracle 11g R2

SAP crystal reports 2013

SAP BI 4.1

== QUESTION ==

How "ref-cursor" in the database get closed, when a report over stored procedure runs from crystal or BI server or Java application.

== REQUIREMENT ==

Customer wants to close the ref-cursor manually as they consume lots of memory if multiple reports will run in the box or have ran but ref-cursor still occupied the memory.

Please provide the answer which will be helpful to the customer.
