I must assume that in your busy consulting schedule, you overlooked the fact that we here in SCN have no idea of what ZDOM or ZEXP do, since these are custom developed in your system, and such development is unknown to us.
Normally, one starts by creating an alternate unit of measure, and then goes through all the steps required to make the Alt u/m suitable for your sales environment. Then, assuming that you are familiar with the current method used in your system for differentiating domestic orders from export orders, you use whatever technique necessary to apply the proper Alt U/M to each of the two types of order.
Many companies are able to solve this type of problem by entering the Alt U/M into the material master Sales Org view. I couldn't say if this would be suitable for your environment......
