Does anyone know definitively if internally written code to change information to an RTF within a Word2016 document is compatible with Powerbuilder 12.5.2? I am inheriting an application that is changing the RTF within Powerbuilder script.
When running in Word2016, the RTF was not changed. In Word2010, the code worked fine. I had to fail the application for an Office2016 environment.
I did notice that the Test computer did not have Program Files\Sybase\Shared\Documents\Powerbuilder and its subfolder RTF. The development computer did. I was testing a compiled version.
Now that I think about it, I did run the compiled version on a random loaner computer that probably did not have the Program Files\Sybase\Shared\Documents\Powerbuilder and its subfolder RTF, but I am not sure. I was demo-ing the RTF portion of the application in a Word2010 environment. It worked fine. Tomorrow I will check the computer of the Admin who will be running that portion of the application as well. She currently has Office2010, but will be changing to Office2016 shortly.
